Product Description
The PRIME LINE PRODUCTS GD 52100 is a 1/8 inch carbon steel extension cable designed for garage doors equipped with extension spring systems. Sold in a 2-pack, these cables provide a direct replacement for worn or broken lift cables on wood garage doors. Carbon steel construction delivers the tensile strength and durability required for the repetitive load cycles of residential garage door operation. Licensed garage door technicians and experienced service professionals install these cables as part of routine spring system maintenance or emergency cable replacement.
These extension cables are suited for residential garage doors that use an extension spring configuration, where cables run along the horizontal tracks and attach to the bottom brackets of the door. The 1/8 inch diameter is the correct sizing for most wood door applications. This 2-pack format supports a full cable replacement on a single door or provides a spare for future service calls.
